Now that the wedding is over. I can safely spend the next few months recovering and sharing all the secrets that I have managed to keep for the past year! The first secret was dress shopping!! We went to three different places to look for dresses. The first two places were awful and were a frustrating experience. We didn't even take pictures.Alas we went to David's Bridal and that is where things took a turn for the better. These are not dress I bought just dresses I tried on.
Not sure what is going on with the bow... but I hate my boobs in this photo.
While this was semi flattering. I couldn't see myself wearing it and the fabric was shiny.
I knew I wanted lace but this was just terrible for me. And the straps were awful...
I would wear this everyday... and it was a little too short.
This one felt like a flower girls dress and again felt like something I would wear any day of the week. When going dress shopping I didn't want something I would wear on a normal day.
These are not my shoes but they were pretty awesome.
While I did find a dress at David's Bridal, I won't be posting it until I get my actual Wedding Photos. I enjoyed the shopping experience with David's Bridal. I did not enjoy the purchasing experience. I was forced to buy a dress that was not my size. Which in turn generally causes you to have to pay them to get alterations. They would not hold my dress longer than a week and when I did pick it up they didn't even have a proper bag for the dress to go into.
So I highly recommend going there for shopping. But take caution when purchasing and stick to what you want!
