My inspiration for this DIY was found here and while we didn't get it exactly the same, I am quite happy with how it turned out. Honestly I can't wait to see the professional images and see how it looks!! This post however is about the making of said backdrop and it's cost. These two lovelies were my helpers! There is one more and you'll see her later below. Dad also helped out by buying the piping and setting it up.
This is the first batch of fabric. We had to cut, then sew, then add it to the top pipe.
Then it was time for the fun stuff - sculpting the fabric the way we wanted it to work!! We tried three different ways and decided on small bunches in the end. In the midst of our scrunching we realized we didn't have enough fabric and had to run out and get more.
Once we added the rest of the fabric it was time for the lights! Which finished off the look. I am so happy with how it turned out!
Fabric Batch One $19.80 - was a online purchase through Fabric.com 10 meters. Batch Two $63.00 - Fabricland also 10 meters
Lights $30.45 - amazon purchase
