I don't remember coloring as a child. I'm sure I did, but I don't remember. I've been all over the place this month emotionally, as such I bought myself this coloring book. The first template took me an hour. The second three. I took my time, using my array of sharpies. I caught up on all my TV shows and played words in between colors. Outside of coloring though I had a lot of fun taking these pictures! YEA, white walls!! Though I really need to get some studio lights (thinking something like this). I've shot in manual mode for the past month and while the lightning is far from perfect it's getting better (damn yellow and shadows). Photography and pushing myself creatively has been really helpful with emotional stress. And I hope to grow my skills, make manual mode more second nature and take some creative self portraits.
What do you do to counter stress?
And just because, here's what I've done so far. Each one takes anywhere from 2 to 3 hours to complete.
I'm a lifestyle blogger, covering deep subjects including body images, battles with food, and overcoming how I was raised. I try to be as authentic as possible and I don’t sugar coat how I see things.
