The Weekend Update

The Past Week I've Determined

I'm allergic to American Deodorant. It's a rather painful process finding this out. I tried scented, unscented, and sensitive of Dove and Secret. They burn like hell, cause a rash and result in many hours spent in a bath. In Canada I used Secret. There's one extra ingredient added to Canadian Deodorant and for some reason that difference allows me to use it. So $25 antiperspirants from Sephora it is. Works for now.

The Glorious Bath

I've also found that this is the one thing that is more expensive than Canada. It's at least double... maybe that's why everyone buys axe??

I've Made

Avocado Fudgesicles, among other yummy things!!. They are delicious but so filling! I can only eat half of one. I want to make them again with different coco powder. I used Hershey's, which is too bitter and over powering over this recipe. . That said I have made lots of yummy food! And if you follow me on snapchat (shameless promotion!) you'll see pictures of all that food. I've made Oatmeal Scotchies, Pesto Sauce (and then pasta with zucchini, mozzarella, and tomatoes), Peanut Butter Cookies, and Chocolate Zucchini Cupcakes.

If you are interested in food post with recipe and pictures let me know!!

Mr and Me

This Weekend

On Saturday Kevin and I were suppose to take our first Kayaking lesson. We went and I was so very excited. And then it rained and thundered and lightening and Blarg... We got intro, safety and hold a paddle. But nowhere near the water or a kayak. But the class will be rescheduled and we will eventually get out on the water. We spent the evening making the pesto mentioned above and watching anime.

Sunday was breakfast at Whole Foods, these cheese bagels and chocolate milk (well coffee for Kevin). More anime and D&D. D&D I got petrified, a typical Sunday.

How was your weekend?

I'm a lifestyle blogger, covering deep subjects including body images, battles with food, and overcoming how I was raised. I try to be as authentic as possible and I don’t sugar coat how I see things.
