Today, I'd like you to met Jenny, fellow blogger at Genuinely, Jenny M. Jenny is the ultimate Mama in streamline organization. She is obsessed with planners, pens, washi tape and stickers. Over the past few months as I've gotten to know Jenny she has gotten me very interested in Bullet Journalling and her process for organization. So when asking her to guest post, I knew that's what I wanted her to talk about.
The holidays can be such a stressful time of year. Between planning holiday dinners, shopping for gifts, traveling and/or hosting family and friends, it can be overwhelming.
The good news is, we have the ability to plan and organize as much as we can beforehand, and a planner (or even just a simple notebook) can be the key to keeping it all together! As a hardcore planner girl myself, I’m already getting started with my holiday planning.

Holiday Planning Ideas
Gift List: Create a page to keep track of who you need to shop for, ideas for gifts, and what gifts you do have! I start gift shopping for Christmas early, and in the past I’ve tucked aside gifts, forgotten that I’ve had them, and went out and got MORE gifts. Now that I keep track of who/what with gifts, this doesn’t happen anymore.
Note: this idea also works for birthday gifts.
Meal Planning: If you’re hosting a holiday meal, planning and keeping track of what you’re preparing as well as what ingredients you need can quickly become daunting.
Consider keeping a list of what dishes you plan on serving, and a page for what items you need to get from the grocery store.
Note: If you are using a recipe, you can also jot down where you found your recipe (just in case you need to reference it later)
Travel: One of my favorite things to do is create a list of what I need to pack. Then when I’m frantically packing (for three people), I just need to check off what I’ve packed so that way I don’t forget something. Because, let’s be real, I don’t pack days in advance, it’s at the last minute.

Budgeting: Most of us have set budgets for holiday spending. Keeping track of what you’ve spent, and what your limit is can be a great way to make sure you don’t overspend! This one goes hand in hand with the gift list. You could even keep your budgeting costs mixed in with your gift list!
