The Year of Me
The Year of Me

Dearest Angela,

One day I want you to look back on this post with pride. See the girl you are and how far you've stretched. You've set your intentions for the year and now it's time to embrace that. It's time to become the person you wish to be.

So Angela, you've met a new person, you've got twenty seconds to introduce yourself. What do you say?

I'm a blogger, a photographer, a yogi.

2017 is my year to stretch.

Now if all you've come for is a 20 second intro, that's what you would get. But if you want to know more about me, keep reading. I have written my far share of intro posts over the years. In fact I write them quite often. You can read about me on my about me page, I did an intro on my instagram. The thing with an intro, is it's always about who you are now and the highlights. So let me tell you about who I want to be and the best part of that

I want to be a blogger, that promotes community and positivity while growing daily (or in my case by posting two to three times a week).

The Year of Me

I want to be a photographer that tells a story, with my art and imagination. Like the ones you see here, they tell you I wear work out clothes a lot, have fun colored hair, wear very little make up and very rarely sit like a normal person. Though all those things could just be what I see when I look at this photos. I'd love to hear what you see.

I want to be a yogi and maybe get to the point where I could take teacher training. Who knows what the year will bring. But I am going to stretch myself towards that goal.

Lastly, I want to be a kind person. Someone people can count on. Who is body positive, mind positive and a good force to have in another's life. I want to be the person who asks if your okay and wants the real answer. I want to slow down, take deep breaths and be present in every moment. Making a conscious effort to be aware.

Who are you?

Thank you to Lashawn from Everyday Eyecandy for creating Project52. This is my Week 1.

I'm a lifestyle blogger, covering deep subjects including body images, battles with food, and overcoming how I was raised. I try to be as authentic as possible and I don’t sugar coat how I see things.
