All American Girl by Meg Cabot
interestingly Goodreads says it's book 1... is this a series?? I have no idea. However I do know this was a really good story, quick read and fun. It's been a while or it feels like it's been a while since I have had a fun read. I choose this book for the last Read-a-Thon I participated in. I wanted a quick read and light. I have never read a Meg Cabot book and I have always heard good things about her.
Anyways on to my thoughts on All American Girl.
At first it kinda annoyed me. The way it's written. From the girls perspective her detailed thoughts basically. I don't know what this is called (first person maybe???) But near the end it grew on me and was kinda nice. I really enjoyed Sam as a character. She had to learn and grow, it was nice to see her not turn into a snob because of all the attention. I really enjoyed how she created a list of Top Ten everytime she had an issue. I don't do quite that, but pretty similar!
It was a cute fun read. Exactly what I needed (something positive) and while I don't think I would read it again. I am definitely curious about Meg Cabot's other books!
