Cover Thoughts: fit for a D&D related book
Review: It feels like this books is a continuation of another book series. And it might be. I am fairly new to the D&D world and don't yet know all the characters (doubt I ever will, there's allot). And here is the synopsis

This latest installment in New York Times best-selling author R.A. Salvatore's beloved fantasy saga, The Companions moves Salvatore's signature hero Drizzt into a new era of the Forgotten Realms. As Drizzt's fate hangs in the balance, he reflects on the lives of the trusted allies who stood by his side throughout his early life--the friends now known as the Companions of the Hall. Meanwhile, the first stirrings of the Sundering begin

NOW that makes a whole lot more sense. I had no idea who this Drizzt was and what his importance. I still don't fully understand what his importance is, but I did enjoy the characters in the story.
Spellscars - interesting. I am most curious if this is something Kevin would let me do on one of my characters for our D&D group. I loved the mage/wizard, but am slightly confused on how she was able to shapeshift for so long.
The Thief (Rogue??) - loved his backstory and would love to read more about Grandfather and Donnolla.
The Dwarf - I am not a fan of dwarf's in general I find them rather boring and brutish. That said the battle of the throne and vampires was seriously amazing and I lost it when it switched to a different character half ways through that battle! (Kevin had to ask if I was alright!) WHO ends a chapter when the character is reaching - almost there.... and next character grrrrrr :)
