Cover Thoughts: it's why I wanted to read it
Review: in line with my cover thoughts, I grab this because the cover intrigued me. What I didn't realize was that it was a bunch of short stories. I was really enjoying the first story and then suddenly it was someone else and there was no defining differences between them. I wish it had been marked in chapters, because the reality of it, I just got super frustrated reading it and started skipping.
I did enjoy some stories. All the desert stories were great. I liked the lady with the ASL story, that was interesting as I have never encountered that type of thing but it did remind me of a thing a co-worker once said to me "Don't say I love you unless you are sure you would want to be with that person if something happened" And the ASL story was exactly that.
The last story very much pissed me off. I feel it came out of nowhere and was completely uncalled for.
Not a very good review for this book I'm afraid. I think if the book was broken down into proper divided sections and organized better this would have been a much nicer read. Hopefully it will be re-edited before it's release.
