Creamy Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Dip
In a small sauce pan, melt the butter and brown sugar together over low heat, stirring frequently. Once the sugar is dissolved, set it aside to cool. In the meantime, add the cream cheese and powdered sugar to a medium bowl and combine with a hand mixer until smooth. Add vanilla, and beat together. Pour in the cooled brown sugar and butter mixture, and beat until smooth. Fold in the chocolate chips. Dip can be made up to a day ahead, sealed in an airtight container in the fridge.
I served it with Pears. It wasn't perfect for the pears but it was Yummy!! I am going to pick up Graham Crackers to munch on with it. Next time though I don't think I will add the Chocolate Chips. Not quite my thing.
