Dear John by Nicholas Sparks
Have you seen the movie? The book is pretty much the same just longer and note details. I really enjoyed the story. Almost cried a couple of times, but I couldn't cause I was at work.
The book is written from johns perspective, its like his inner monologue. You don't know what any of the other characters are thinking. I really enjoyed watching John grow as an adult. His relationship with his father was the biggest growth and the thong the most the most in the movie.
I like how the whole book, wasn't a fairy-tale. It was reality. Everything that happened is so close to what would happen in real life, it was very refreshing. It also made me realize how important my relationship is with my other half. And the importance of talking and treating them right.
Nicholas Sparks really creates some fascinating tales.
