Alex Rider Series by Anthony Horowitz
Sir Damian Cray is a philanthropist, peace activist, and the world's most famous pop star. But still it's not enough. He needs more if he is to save the world. Trouble is, only Alex Rider recognizes that it's the world that needs saving from Sir Damian Cray. Underneath the luster of glamour and fame lies a twisted mind, ready to sacrifice the world for his beliefs. But in the past, Alex has always had the backing of the government. This time, he's on his own. Can one teenager convince the world that the most popular man on earth is a madman bent on destruction-before time runs out?
Eagle Strike, book 4 is my favorite so far. Lots of action. Alex actual develops relationships with people! He makes his own choices and stood up for what he wanted. Before he was always just thrown onto the situation without getting a choice, it was nice he that he did something for himself, while helping his new found friends. This book I would read again.
The one thing though that keeps bothering me, is the ending of the second book. That doesn't feel concluded to me and so I keep thinking on it as I am reading the rest of the series. It's there like a little bug...
But if you skip over that, I kinda wish I would see these books as a high action movie. Though books turned into movies generally suck because they screw up 90% of the book. I am totally off topic.
On to the next book! Happy Reading!
