Thirst No 1 by Christopher Pike
The Last Vampire, part one of Thirst book one.
This story is written from an interesting perspective. Sita or Alise Perne or which ever of her names you would like to call her, is telling her own story in her own words to you. It's like listening to a storyteller except that you are reading.
At times it's a little annoying because she gets a little side tracked in her story at times. But it makes it more realistic. Even though it was annoying it made the whole story more honest. Almost like the whole thing was actually real like a biography instead of fiction.
My favorite character in the story so far is Seymour and I can not wait to see what happens with his storyline. I almost shouldn't be doing a review for part one. It's only 81 pages long But here it is and I can't wait to start the next book!
