Quotes:
"It was at that moment that he knew everything was going to be fine. If he could still laugh, then all was not lost. He was going to be all right after all."

"Mei Zing? As in a-mazing? Poor girl getting stuck with such an unfortunate name."

Minor Annoyances: I read this on my EReader. It was frustrating to read because of the images and random one word pages. It could have been put together much better.

Review:
I have read 0.5 of the series but not book 1. So I do feel like I was missing some information. I read this book mostly in one day. While I enjoyed it, the sexual tension at the beginning was very annoying mostly because I didn't really know the characters or remember them that well, it made more sense the more I remembered of 0.5.
I expect the big twist from the very beginning so when it did finally happen I kinda felt let-down. The build up towards the end final 'battle' was good and the battle itself was really good. I enjoyed the ending of the blacked haired beauty.
I really enjoy the Steampunk genre, but feel that there were to many inconsistencies in the technologies. It was interesting to see what the Author thinks of Thomas Edison and how crazy she made Nikola Telsa out to be.
Another thing I found weird was their ages, they acted more left 20s early 30s not 16 and 18. I find it very strange that the characters are suppose to be that young.
Overal it wasn't my favorite story but I still would like to read book 1.
