The Immortal's

Evermore, Book 1 by Alyson Noel

Yes No yes no...
The only thing that annoyed me about Ever was she constantly went back and forth. She could not decide what to do.

I am excited to finally be reading this series. I really enjoyed the Riley Bloom books and have been curious about her sister for ages. Especially the immortal part (like how does Riley end up dying with everyone but Ever and Ever ends up Immortal on earth?? Most curious)

I still don't fully understand how the immortal thing works but neither does Ever. It sounds like an experiment gone wrong. Damen kinda reminds me of Edward from twilight and this is where I start to worry. I don't enjoy characters who are all controlling. So I am curious as to how his character will continue and if I will like their relationship.

I liked how the auras are described in the beginning
Red: Energy, strength, anger, sexuality, passion, fear, ego
Orange: Self-control, ambition, courage, thoughtfulness, lack of will, apathetic
Yellow: Optimistic, happy, intellectual, friendly, indecisive, easily led
Green: Peaceful, healing, compassion, deceitfulness, jealous
Blue: Spiritual, loyal, creative, sensitive, kind, moody
Violet: Highly spiritual, highly intuitive, seeker
Pink: Love, sincerity, friendship
Gray: Depression, sadness, exhaustion, low energy, skepticism
Brown: Greed, self-involvement, opinionated
Black: Lacking energy, illness, imminent death
While: Perfect balance.

Except now that I read through it some things contradict other things... And how would you succeed at "Perfect Balance"
