Cover Thoughts: I like old photographs and it works for the story
Review: This book was not at all what I expect, but I really enjoyed it. It took me a really long time to read and usually when something takes me a while to read I get bored. This book however did not get that response. I thought about the lovely Gracianna and Juan allot when I wasn't reading. When Constance story got added in I was thrilled.
Constance experience is just WOW. I could not imagine being dragged like that an that people allowed that to happen. It's a completely foreign concept to me that people stand by and watch things like this happen. And it makes me wonder what I would do and I hope I never have to be in a situation where I need to choose. I hope Constance life took a turn for the better when she went back home. She deserved that.
Gracianna a fighter
Juan a lover until the time came for them to switch roles.
I loved reading about Juan and the sheep. It was fascinating how whistling could save people's lives or how it could help direct them. I like how it was described in great detail so when it came up later in the book you understood what she was looking for.
Gracianna was an amazing creature and I don't know how she found the strength to do what she did, but many men are dead because of it and it makes me happy... as odd as that is.
This was a very good read.
