A Stolen Life: A Memoir by Jaycee Dugard

I received an email from Chapters with Top Recommended books. A Stolen Life was in there and it sounded interesting. I was able to find it online which on one side really bothers me as I would like to own a book and not steal it. But I can’t afford to buy any books this month so I hope she understands. I don't know how long the link will work but you can read it only below as well. Hopefully the coding will work. As much as I prefer to buy the book, I do like to share the things I find.

Jaycee Dugard was kidnapped at age 11 in June of 1991. She was late found on August 24/25 2009. For 18 years she was held captive by Phillip Garrido and his wife Nancy. The story is heart-wrenching and I don’t have much to say on it other than Phillip was sentenced to 431 years imprisonment and Nancy to 36 years to life. I am unsure if that is a severe enough charge.

Wiki has more information if you are interested.
