Cover Thoughts: muh it's not quiet right :(
Review: This book would have made allot more sense if I had read the first book. There are many things that aren't explained and I have to assume it's because they were explained in the first book.
That said I really did enjoy this book. It was an interesting read. I can't wait to learn more about the dragons and the plot to keep Sebastian and Ciardis apart. Also Ciardis mother sounds like a most interesting tale! But at the same time there is like 8 different story lines here and not all of them got fully developed. It feels like the author was only allowed to have 255 pages. I wish she had taken more time to fully go through parts of the plot.
There was one thing that really frustrated me with the book. At one point Ciardis is out interviewing Griffins to see what happened and two pages later she is asking what Griffins are! This whole chapter knocked an entire point off my rating scale. Which is unfortunate.
One thing that was nice is the fact that Ciardis is 16 years old and has the attitude of a 16 year old when authority is around.
I will eventually have to get book 1 and mostly definitely book 2.
