Bleeding Violet by Dia Reeves

Love can be a dangerous thing...

Hanna simply wants to be loved. With a head plagued by hallucinations, a medicine cabinet full of pills, and a closet stuffed with frilly, violet dresses, Hanna’s tired of being the outcast, the weird girl, the freak. So she runs away to Portero, Texas in search of a new home.

But Portero is a stranger town than Hanna expects. As she tries to make a place for herself, she discovers dark secrets that would terrify any normal soul. Good thing for Hanna, she’s far from normal. As this crazy girl meets an even crazier town, only two things are certain: Anything can happen and no one is safe

Kevin bought this for me on a sale he found. It came with 8 or 9 other books. And they are all a bit different.

This one reminded me a bit about the Demonata by Darrn Shan except not as gruesome. This book was missing something more description in battle more something...

Wyatt - acts like a teenage boy. He has allot of responsibility and he's having a hard time keeping up. Hanna helps
Rosalee - that was a twist I didn't see coming
Hanna - purple... the only word for her is purple.

Also I feel like doctor's don't actually take the time to see what's wrong with their patients. Why was she not under someone's care to really find out what she needed. Instead of her bouncing around.

I like the casual way colour comes up.

Interesting read. Not sure I'd read it again. I think it needs something more... like the Demonata actually.
